Easter 2010

We started off our Easter celebration with an Easter party at Benjamin & Timothy's school.  Here is a picture of all of us in the party room.
Every year, the Saturday before Easter Sunday, Kingwood has what they call "Easter on the Park" at Town Center.  It's less than 2 miles from our house, so when we are in town, we always partake in the festivities.  Below, are just a few of the fun things the boys did the short time that we were there (10:30am-1:00pm).

Benjamin & Timothy both slide - Timothy is still at the top about to go down!
Next, it was time to shoot the hoops!  Both boys try basketball!
The boys stop with Nonna & Poppa, trying to figure out where to go next!
It's baseball time!
Benjamin was thirsty!  He asked for tea - he didn't know you could get tea in a can!
Benjamin & Poppa ride the train.  (Timothy was in the back with Harry, but I had trouble getting a picture of both!)
The Petting Zoo!  Benjamin wouldn't leave the poor cow alone - it's the only animal he was interested in!
The boys stopped to say hi to the Easter Bunny!
We see the Murray Girls - Savannah & Sutton (our sweet next door neighbors and playmates)!
Timothy is helping the park pick up the left over eggs.  He is doing a darn good job at stacking them!
Sutton poses, showing off her butterfly face painting!
Benjamin rides the ponies!  (He stood in line with his daddy for almost 45 minutes, waiting to ride!)
Timothy is all tuckered out!

Saturday evening, the boys were playing around with Nonna's glasses!

We put out carrots for the Easter Bunny!  (Timothy can't resist taking a bite!  Ha!)
These are the eggs that Julie dyed.
These are the eggs that Nonna & MaMa dyed.
Wow, the Easter Bunny thought our boys were good enough this year to make a visit!
Benjamin is excited about a sucker!  The Easter Bunny knows suckers are the only sweet thing he likes so he got other things to make up for it.
Timothy likes the star glasses!
Wow - a kaleidescope!
Such a sweet picture!  Timothy loves everything in his basket!
All ready for church.
After church, we take a few pictures in the azaleas in front of our house.
A quick family shot.  Benjamin kept putting all of his weight on me, trying to knock me down!  He thought it was funny!
Once at church, we dropped the boys off at Sunday school and then attended the church service.  Afterwards, we were picking the boys back up, and a gentleman stopped and whispered something in Harry's ear.  After we got both boys, we were walking out to the car, and I caught a glimpse of Harry's butt (even though he was holding the boys' papers from Sunday school right behind him).  Well, what the man had whispered was that Harry had a hole in his pants!  A BIG HOLE...which I just now saw!

Poor Harry, he was so humiliated.  Especially when I started snapping shots of him when we got home.  He made me promise that I woudn't publish the photos without his consent, so I begged and pleaded for 2 days until he said that I could include one photo.  I love Harry's outlook on the entire thing...in his words, "Before today, I was just another man at church, and after today, everyone will know me as THE man at church!"  See snapshot below.

Bubbles on the back patio.  In the first shot - just the anticipation alone is priceless.  I love bubble shots!  The ones of Timothy are adorable!

Benjamin is so serious about it all!  :-)
Timothy gives MaMa (great grandmother) a sweet kiss!
Both boys tackle Nonna for a kiss!
All tuckered out!  Such a good little sleeper!
After Benjamin wakes up, he gives MaMa some good loving!
I'll give you 3 guesses what Timothy is doing, but it will probably only take 1.
Timothy loves "kisses" from Abby!
Sweet Abby - the best puppy dog ever!

Finally - time for the Easter egg hunt.  I love the way Timothy carries his basket looped over his arm!
Timothy gets all of the green ones - his favorite color.
Benjamin likes the orange ones!  Shocker!
Green....green....and more green!
Until next year......The End!

  1. OMG, I was just cracking up about the Harry story!! What a good sport he is to let you show the picture! And believe me, I've been there before (although maybe not with that big of a tear...) Ha!

I'm so glad you guys had such a wonderful Easter. The boys are at such a fun age to enjoy the activities and begin to understand the meaning of Easter. Hopefully this nice weather will last a bit longer and you all can continue to enjoy lots of fun times outdoors!

    Miss you guys!!
