We've got a climber!

Two mornings this week, we've entered Timothy's room to find him out of his bed and playing in his room!  Oh, yes, we've got a climber!  He's very easily and happily climbing out of his baby bed!  Since we were planning on moving him out of the baby bed around August anyway, this will probably just move things up a bit! 

For now, we aren't going to worry too much about him climbing.......but I AM going to have to put all of his books away so that he doesn't make a mess of them, AND, even more importantly, I am going to have to put a safety knob on the door handle! 

This morning, as I walked upstairs, I could see/hear Timothy opening his door and yelling, "DADDY!!!!" then closing his door again.  He did this at least 3 times (where I could see/hear him), and then I entered his room. 

He was happily playing and making a huge mess!  We're just lucky that he didn't leave his room and head downstairs on his own.  Timothy is quite careless and carefree, and he happily jumps and bounces down the stairs without proper guidance/help!

For now.....we will continue to "let" him climb out of his bed....  At least, until we can switch furniture around and get his room in order....but that safety knob will be put in place immediately!   According to my mom, I was a climber.  So as much as I would love to blame Harry for his one, I'm afraid, I only have myself to blame!
