The Wiggles

After such a successful Wiggles show last year, we were very excited to see them again this year!  The boys LOVE the Wiggles!  I have to admit, I like them too!  Their songs are quite catchy, and I find myself singing them even when the boys aren't around.  Scary, but true.  My parents even like the Wiggles so much that they wanted to attend the show as well, but we only had four tickets and Harry and I just couldn't bring ourselves to miss the show and miss seeing the boys during the show. 

So, for the 2nd year, we met Benjamin's best friend, Connor, and his mom, Lauri, for a fun-filled evening of the Wiggles followed-up by dinner at Hard Rock afterwards.  Lauri and I were so busy talking at Hard Rock that we didn't see two of the Wiggles (Sam & Murray), along with Captain Feathersword and several of the dancers (out of costume) walk RIGHT BY our table and us to sit down in a private room that was open for public seating.  We could see their table from ours, but we hated to go up and "bother" them like all of the other parents/kids were doing! 

So....there we sat, star struck and all, by The Wiggles!  We couldn't help but tease each other and get a good laugh out of thinking back to 10 years ago, looking towards the future, and seeing ourselves as "Wiggles Groupies!"  We never got the courage to bother the group, and since so many other parents didn't show the same courtesy as us, the doors were finally closed to the private room, and our decision was made for us - no private meeting with The Wiggles. 

Well, there's always next year.  I guess my kids will be teenagers, and I'll be borrowing friend's kids so that I can attend the Wiggles shows for myself....without looking like a total idiot!  :-)    For now, here are a few pictures from the show.
