Long time no blog......

Several of you have asked for updates to the blog - showing pictures of Lily at home.  Well, I've attempted to update the blog on several occasions, only to get interrupted in the process.  As you can imagine, having a newborn in the house presents many challenges, but these days, Lily is NOT our biggest challenge.  Our sweet Timothy is!!!!

Since Timothy was about 18 months old, he's been known to spike a really high fever with no definitive diagnosis.  The high fevers are becoming more and more frequent - been on/off every 2-4 days for the last 4-5 weeks.  So our beloved pediatrician is referring us to an Infectious Disease Doctor at Texas Children's Hospital.  Apparently, he is known Internationally, so we are pleased that we might be able to finally get answers and solutions to these high fevers.  The pediatrician does NOT think that Timothy has anything serious so we aren't too concerned about that. It's more of a rule-out process.

Currently, Timothy has a really bad sinus infection - has been on antibiotics since Monday, and as of Wednesday night, was still running 104.8 fever.  He was at 104+ all day yesterday.  It was very scary, and we are watching him closely.  We finally got a different antibiotic yesterday afternoon so hopefully, he will feel better soon.

Add to that....Harry and I both have head colds - sneezing and sore throats.  Normally, this wouldn't slow us down much, but with a newborn in the house, we are pretty stressed/paranoid!  :-)  Every time Lily makes a sound, I am convinced she is sick!

I blog all of this so that those of you checking regularly will be patient with me while I try to upload recent pictures.  I am way behind on several posts, but I hope to catch up soon!  In the meantime, keep us in your prayers as we continue to find answers for our sweet little Timothy.
