A few weeks ago, Harry woke me up in the middle of the night (3am) to take him to the ER. Luckily, we had family visiting because of Benjamin's birthday party earlier that day, and we were able to head straight to the hospital without worrying about the kiddos.
I was exhausted! I had only slept about 3-4 hours the night before, and I had taken 2 Tylenol PM the night we went to the ER. I was so cold in the ER, I thought I was going to die! I asked for blankets, and tried to sleep on one of those tray tables with rolling wheels. Of course, once Harry got pain medicine (which was pretty darn quick), he was OUT!
Harry was in SEVERE pain. The Doctors think that he had a kidney stone. He had a CAT scan last week to confirm, and we should know the results soon. I couldn't help but blog about it....since I took a couple of photos to capture the moment. I have no idea what the pictures show...other than how miserable I was! Ha!

Bless your heart, you DO look miserable! I've always heard horror stories about how painful they are but thankfully haven't had one myself. Of course, I DID have a similar horror with the birth of my first baby.... :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd kudos to you for posting that pic! (Jeff gets so mad at me that I never post pics of myself because I don't like any of them.)
