Happy 2nd Birthday Timothy!

Our sweet little Timothy turned 2 on this past Sunday, December 20th! Timothy is such a ray of sunshine each and every day - his happy demeanor and "Dennis the Menace" personality constantly makes us smile. He's a handful - needing lots of attention and getting into things regularly, but he is so adorable, and sure to get a laugh out of those around him.

We thought that he would never talk, but now that he is started, he never shuts up! He says EVERYTHING. He repeats what we say, he answers every question posed, whether to him or someone else, and he is almost talking in complete sentences. Needless to say, he is going to be a talker.......and...As Harry would say, "He get's it honest!" Enough said.

We celebrated by having a party with his best friend, Tanner, who shares the same birthday! Tanner's mommy and I met about 3 1/2 years ago when Benjamin started going to daycare at Crème de la Crème downtown.

Tanner's has an older brother, Brady, who has been in the same class as Benjamin since they started school at 12 weeks old! We had our 2nd baby boys on the exact same day, and so Timothy and Tanner were able to celebrate their special day together, with their older brothers’ right by their side!

We had a small party at our house with a jumping castle, popcorn, and cotton candy. There were a few technical difficulties, but all in all, it was a huge success! I hope that you enjoy the pictures of our special day.

Ready for the party!!!

Thanksgiving and Snow.....Say what???

Well, I am getting very behind on my blogging!  So...I got up before 6:00am, ON MY DAY OFF, so that I could post an update!  It seems like once Thanksgiving hits, the month of December just flies by!  Add to that - my new puppy dog takes up any "extra" time that I had, and Timothy's birthday falls in December as well!

I was sick the week of Thanksgiving (stomach virus), and it took a good 2 weeks for me to get back to normal.....if you can call me normal!  :-)  We spent Thanksgiving day at 2 homes.  First, we traveled to the Champions Forest area to spend some time with my cousins Connie & Grant.  They welcomed us into their beautiful home, and we had excellent food, prepared by Connie...and excellent entertainment by Grant!  Grant is always a delight - funny and interesting!  Even though we don't see them very often, we always enjoy catching up and spending time together.

For our second visit, we traveled to Beaumont (2 hours) to have an evening dinner with my sister's in-laws, the Roys.  They too, are wonderful hosts, and we always enjoy spending time with them, and all of my brother-n-law's family.  Overall, Thanksgiving was a huge success!

The weekend after Thanksgiving, we celebrated Christmas with my aunt/uncle/cousins at my house.  We did this a little early this year since my sister was in town from California.  We always have so much fun when we are together.  I grew up with my cousins, and they are like my brother/sister.

Lastly, it actually snowed in Houston a couple of weeks ago!  Craziness, I know, but we enjoyed the beauty of it all.  With that said, I'll try to capture what we've been up to in pictures.  Enjoy!
