Benjamin likes....well....Benjamin!

I just wanted to share a couple of cute "Benjamin stories" from yesterday and today.

Benjamin has 2 swim classes back-to-back every Monday.  Currently, there is no one else enrolled in his group class, so he actually gets a 40 minute private lesson with his teacher, Mr. Daniel.  Since he is the only kid in the class, he gets to do lots of fun stuff with Mr. Daniel -- dive off the side of the pool (with assistance, of course), swim on Mr. Daniel's back - kind of like a Dolphin, and Mr. Daniel tickles him throughout his lesson, playing with him a lot!  Yesterday, after Benjamin's swim class with Mr. Daniel, I was asking him if he liked Mr. Daniel, and without missing a beat, he said enthusiastically, "Yeah, he really likes me!"   Several parents in the room chuckled, and I have to admit, I laughed out loud too! 

This morning, Harry was getting Benjamin ready for school, and Benjamin could hear Timothy crying in his room.  Normally, Benjamin will say something like, "Brother wants Mommy!" or "Brother wants Daddy!"  This morning, Benjamin proudly pronounced, "Brother wants me, daddy?"  Harry laughed and said, "Yes, Benjamin, brother wants you!"  Benjamin proceeded to say, "Brother wants mommy, daddy, and me....and brother wants a baby sister?"  Without missing a beat, Harry laughed and said, "Well, brother's not getting a baby sister today!  Maybe someday....but not today!"  (Benjamin's best friend, Connor, has a 3 month old baby sister, and Timothy is fascinated by her.  I guess he's putting all the pieces together!)
