Bloody Mess

When I went to get Benjamin up one morning in the last couple of weeks, I found him looking like this! 

Of course, before I investigated too much further, I had to snap a few shots!

I was really concerned initially!  However, upon closer inspection, I realized that all of the blood was from his lips!  His lips are chapped pretty badly right now, and he has been picking at the dry skin.  We figured out that is what happened to cause all of this blood!

Before it was over with, Benjamin was smiling at the camera.  He was such a big boy when mommy got a warm rag with hot water to clean him up!  He cooperated so nicely, and we finished up with some chapstick!  Now, he asks for "stuff for his lips" several times a day.  So grown-up!
