Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo 2010

It's rodeo time again; however, this year, we opted to only purchase carnival tickets.  We hooked up with Benjamin's best friend, Connor, and his mommy, daddy, and baby sister, Kaitlynn (Timothy's girlfriend), and in the short time we were there, we had a blast!

Getting to and from the rodeo is a different story.....traffic was horrific, and there were wrecks going and coming, but once we got there, we were able to spend almost 5 hours enjoying all of the festivities.   We won't talk much about the 3+ hours we spent on the road or waiting in lines getting to/from the festivities........

Benjamin on the train - I think he liked the train more than anything!
Waiting for Connor to arrive!
Who's having more fun - Benjamin OR Harry?
There's Ms. Lauri - That's a good sign that Connor is around here somewhere!
All 3 boys together at last - Timothy, Connor, & Benjamin
Timothy anxiously waits to ride the ponies!
Benjamin waves to us from the pony ride!
Timothy LOVED LOVED LOVED the ponies!
(Poppa - Are you listening??????)
Here are the boys riding a camel!
Mr. Jeff shares cotton candy with Timothy.
YUMMY!  They will be friends for life!
Mr. Jeff gives Timothy a shoulder ride!
(He's scoring points left and right with Timothy!)
Not to be outdone, Daddy puts Benjamin on his shoulders!
It doesn't get much cuter than this!
Benjamin was the only one of our boys who would pose with the Indian.
Timothy, our little animal lover, loves the petting zoo!
Benjamin gets some help from daddy to feed the doe.
(Don't get too attached, we hope you will be killing that one day for dinner!)
Timothy won't be killing anything....unless he accidentally gives too much love!
"Timothy, do you know that's sausage your looking at?"
The next morning.....both boys don't want to give up their cowboy hats!

  1. We had such a great time with you guys! Your pics turned out great. I just love the one with the Dads and the boys on their shoulders and also the one with Benjamin and the Indian (I'm not sure who looks more fierce!) Thanks for again sharing your Rodeo experience with us this year!
